summary:
There were two different drug bust that happened in Regina Saskatchewan recently. Both of the men are facing multiple charges for this. Even though both of these drug bust were independant of each other, they both resulted in fairly significant seizures. For the first bust RCMP found and seized 428 cannabis marijuana plants in a garage. As well as a significant amount of equipment such as lights, timers and fans. Quantity of cash were also seized at the residence. The other drug bust was found a few days later. They found just under a pound of cannabis marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. As well, three rifles and one shotgun were seized. This drug bust was a good example for the RCMP because it showed that the were actually doing work in the community.

Connections:
This drug bust caused direct impact on the supply and demand for marijuana in our economy. After busting two houses with large amounts of marijuana plants, there was a decrease in supply. This would cause an inflation on the price since the supply count has been lowered. When large amounts of marijuana gets confiscated the dealers for the product will increase the price dramatically. If they don’t increase the price, they will be losing money due to the fact that there is not enough marijuana to satisfy the customers demand. Due to the increase in price, the demand for marijuana would decrease.

 Reflections:
There are many different opinions casted out by people about the recent and future drug busts. Whether it leans towards the good or bad side, there is only one clear image in my head. With the police and government working hard busting down houses or marijuana fields, the supply of marijuana will go down significantly and the demand will also go down due to the increased price. Since marijuana is not considered an addictive drug. There will not people that have to smoke it to survive. This place a big role in the supply and demand factor for marijuana. Since the demand will be low due to the fact that the prices will be too high, there will be less and less people choosing growing marijuana as a way of making money.
